Students
Students are the people who have driven the creation of PhOrMeS most of all. While PhOrMeS is written for teachers to teach, student learning has been at front of mind during each stage of its development.
In many ways, PhOrMeS is the culmination of all the things learnt while working with students who have literacy difficulties. I have learnt so much from the students I have worked with in the past. Part of my goal in education is to help as many children (particularly those who are at risk of illiteracy or low levels of literacy) succeed in a literate world. If PhOrMeS is one small step to achieving that goal, its creation will have been worth every second.
